So, I'm 45 minutes late for work this morning and spent about an hour and a half in the freezing weather because Seattle's transit system can't deal with a little ice and snow! (And I mean not very bloody much) My bus never came, and as it turns out was rerouted which I might have figured out except the other bus that uses that stop came several times while I and many others froze our asses off. I finally gave up and went to a different stop and about 20 minutes later was surprised to see the bus I was originally waiting for pull up there. As we passsed the stop I had been at I saw about 15 people looking very cold and pissed. Glad I had gotten onto a bus, I got Downtown about the time I was supposed to be getting to work. I called in late and then waited for either of two busses to show up. At least one of them should have come in the 35 minutes I stood there. One finally did and I overheard people saying that the first one just never showed. So, I am finally at work, but my toes are so frozen that they ache. What a great way to begin my last day here.
