I am working on an outfit for Dragoncon that requires some new face paint. I use to go to Display and Costume, but I have had such poor luck with them lately that I figured I'd do research online instead. I found the brand I wanted to buy and went to their website. I searched and searched and never found the paint I wanted. Or prices. Prices could be quite handy. So, I googled the product and found a lot of links to an even worse site that has a huge online presence. PDFs?! Seriously?! Yuck! I finally found another site with the product I wanted that was easy to navigate, had prices posted and would let me buy stuff. Huzzah! So, I have placed an order, albeit through a middle man so to speak. So, it's kind of a cautionary tale. Have a good and working website. You lose business if you don't.
